Начин на приготвяне

1. Размиваме маята с 1/2 ч.ч. затоплено мляко и малко брашно, една ч.л. захар и оставяме да втаса.

2. Замесваме тестото с пресятото брашно, добавяме маята, разбитите яйца със захарта и ванилията и разтопеното масло, солта, останалото мляко и настърганата кора на лимона.

3. Замесваме меко тесто на топка, поръсваме го с брашно и оставяме да втаса, докато удвои обема.

4. Разделяме тестото на 4-5 топки и ги разточваме на кръг, с дебелина на тестото около 2 см.

5. Разрязваме кръга на 8 триъгълника, всеки с основа около 3 см. Слагаме с лъжичка малко сладко в основата на триъгълника и навиваме.

6. Нареждаме кифличките в тава върху хартия за печене, с разстояние между тях. Оставаме ги да втасат още.

7. Намазваме ги с разбития жълтък и олиото. По желание можем да ги поръсим със захар, филирани или нарязани бадеми или други ядки.

    Okay, wow, these look absolutely delicious! My grandma used to make something similar, the smell alone would fill the whole house. I especially love the idea of adding plum jam; that little burst of sweetness must be amazing.
